Which instrument should I try to learn to play?
Hey I already play Piano/keyboard, Bass guitar and some percussion.
I'm in a punk band as the keyboadist, but would like to contribute with another instrument as the bass guitar and percussion spot is taken.
I am not seeking the easiest or hardest, but the funnest. Please do not say guitar as I do not like the guitar.
So whats a fun instrument to learn to play? Inexpensiveness is a huge plus.
Its not that I don't appreciate it, its just not for me. No hate, but no love.

depending on your range of musical tastes i've heard that the bass guitar is similar to the cello. yes - the cello is a classical instrument however it is being experimented with in many modern rock bands. I haven't heard alot of punk with classical influences but hey you could be a first.
The cello is somewhat expensive but can also be inexpensive. Rent to own is the best and since you'll be a new cellist you don't have to get the absolute nicest cello. You'll probably want a few beginner books and if you really want to pursue it, a private teacher.
Cellos can also be electric and are really awesome. Since you are obviously a punker you'll probably want to look into that.
